My name is Ruby and I'd like to apply to be your new forever pet. I think I am highly qualified! What do you think?

I am an affectionate girl and I love cuddles and a bit of a play but am equally happy chilling out for a nap. I am out of the shelter now, and life is good!! I would make an awesome companion; I prefer to be by your side making sure you are OK all day and night. All I ask for in return are a couple doggy treats and a good scratch (if you find just the right spot, I'll let you know with a big smile!!). Tummy rubs and marrow bones are my weakness.

I'm an intelligent girl and have already leant a few basic commands like "sit", "stay", "law down" and I come when I am called. You don't have to tell me to sleep though; I've got that one down pat!! I'll let you know when I need to go out to the toilet also. I'm a great girl like that.

If you need someone to sit by your feet as you work or watch TV, I can do that! Got older kids who would like to play in the yard with me? Sounds great!! Small children / babies and sudden loud noises are still unsettling for me, so a calm but active home is my ideal space.
