Buddy is a splendid dog, his inner beauty shines through blindingly.
He has the nicest disposition, he is well mannered and he is smart therefore quick to learn. He would suit someone who hasn’t owned a dog before because he is so well behaved, he would suit someone wanting a second dog but worried whether it would be compatible with their existing dog – because Buddy gets on with everyone, or he would suit an experienced owner looking to treat themselves with such a well rounded dog. I have nicknamed him ‘Buddy the Breeze’ because he is so easy to care for.
Buddy currently weighs 16 kg and has a bit of growing to do, but will only reach the heights of a medium/large sized dog.

As we rely on our foster carers (who are all volunteers and have families, jobs and pets of their own) to help with adoptions it may take a couple of days to organise for you to meet a dog once you have submitted your adoption application. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we work with you to ensure the perfect match for your family.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
