About Sasha ~ Mastiff X, 2yo On Trial 26/02/16
Sasha is a beautiful 2 year old Mastiff X female. She has a shiny brindle coat, a striking white chest, four white paws, long legs making her a medium to large size girl and to top it all off, she has a beautiful smile!
Sasha has a very sweet, friendly nature and loves all humans she meets! She loves to spend most of her days lazing outside in the sun accompanied with the occasional play with her doggy foster brother. She generally has a calm disposition and is also a very good girl inside where she enjoys laying on her doggy bed. Sasha has great manners, knows how to sit and come when called, is fully housetrained and for a medium/large size dog, she walks great on a leash – she prances very proudly and never pulls! She loves a walk and even the occasional swim.
Sasha came into foster care due to no fault of her own and has been happily living with her foster brother (a male labrador) and a cat (Sasha is beautifully friendly with cats - another bonus to having this easy-going girl!). Sasha has met a lot of different dogs on her daily walks and in the park, to which she has been very friendly. However, she did not like it when placed in a yard with another dominant female dog. Sasha's ideal forever home therefore would be where either she is the only dog, or where she was with an easy-going, friendly male dog as a furever companion. Due to her size and being a funny girl who sometimes loves to lean on her favourite human to show affection, Sasha would not be suited to a family with younger children. She would be great with a family with children aged about 10 and up.
Sasha will make her new human/family very happy - she is an easy going girl who is happy to sleep inside or outside, has a lot of love and affection to give and is incredibly grateful for all the simple things her new doggy life has to offer!
Sasha can't wait to find her furever family and get the loving home she so deserves.
For more information or to meet Sasha, please contact her foster carer Jess on 0416 612 703 or email jessica.germon@outlook.com. Sasha is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Sasha's adoption fee is $350 and this covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea & worm treatment, microchipping and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
