About Lilly
Hello my name is Lilly.
I am an adult cat with the most amazing green eyes. I need someone to love me who understands that I may not have had the best life so far but gee I have a lot to offer. Perhaps my foster Mum can best explain:
I picked up Lilly from the pound because she was not coping in the pound environment. Lilly was quivering facing one corner everytime I visited. She was surrendered by her owner who had kept her in the garage because she didn't get along with the other 2 cats she had.
Lilly has been my most rewarding rescue so far. It took her 3 weeks to trust me but now she is waiting at the door to greet me. She's come out of herself a lot since that first day at home. Lilly now relaxes kneads and purrs when sitting with me. You can see how calm she is in my company in the photos.
Lilly needs to go to an ONLY cat home and one without children. She needs a patient new owner who doesn't expect to have a smoochy cat straight up. Her new owner will need to earn her trust and I'm sure will be highly rewarded once they have. Lilly is very sweet natured once settled and as you can tell very beautiful and elegant. She's a real lady and would suit a senior who is home more often then not. L
I know there is someone out there who will love her as I now do and provide the soft care that Lilly needs and who will get the biggest reward of all - total devotion & love from my senior girl Lilly.

Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
