About Clive (Prof.Obedience Trained/Dog Friendly)
Clive is a gorgeous Labrador mix of MEDIUM energy.
Clive was left at the local pound and was on the KILL LIST, before being saved by Wally's Doggie Rescue, the day he was due to be put to sleep. Before coming into care Clive has had no formal training and did not know what love was.
Clive is currently undergoing FORMAL DOG TRAINING at the PetResort in Dural where the dog trainers are trained via National Dog Trainers Federation. Clive will complete an intense 5 week training session, and learn to be a well behaved and well mannered young man. Clive will know how to SIT, DROP, STAY, WATCH, FREE, learn RECALL and WALK BESIDE you on a lead. Clive will be available for adoption after his training is complete.
Once Clive graduates from doggie school, he will go into foster care in a family environment with children, and other dogs.
Clive is DOG FRIENDLY and TOILET TRAINED and FULLY CRATE TRAINED.
Clive will need a forever home with a family who can maintain his dog training, establish boundaries, most of all love him unconditionally. He would do best with another big doggie companion to rumble and play with and has been fine with other dogs while in care, even respectful of an elderly dog in his previous foster home.
Wally's Doggie Rescue will talk you through Clive's training and so you have a sound knowledge of what Clive is capable of and what he has learnt in doggie training.
Clive would suit an active family, with older children.
If there are other dogs in the family we require a meet and greet to ensure that they both get along.

When enquiring about Clive, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Clive.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Clive will be located on the Central Coast in Green Point, once his training is complete.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
