Ernie (D3144)

Ernie is a cheeky, playful little larrikin that has been raised in a home environment. He is well socialised with other dogs and loves to play. Ernie is a little character that takes great delight in hiding in and around the plants in the garden and loves playing with a wide variety of toys. Ernie loves swimming in his wading pool and loves trips to the beach and park. He is good in the car and walks well on the lead.

Ernie is a excellent guard dog and will only bark to let you know someone is there. He is fearless and has lots of courage for a pup of his age and size. Ernie is motivated by food which makes training him easier. Unfortunately he is a little protective of his food and sometimes growls and nips if you get too close while he is eating. With positive training methods this resource guarding behaviour could be improved but for this reason Ernie is best suited to a home without young children.
