About Axel
Axel is a playful and human loving little man who loves to be doted on. He may only be small in stature but he is large in personality and love. This little man is a little timid and shy but only at first. He is very loving and trusting to humans though. He has met a bunch of kids ranging in ages and he did quite well with them. He wanted to know how to please them and ran around with them when enticed. He didn't show any interest in jumping up at all and no nipping either. We would recommend if he was going to a home with kids that they weren't too grabby as he is a little unsure and timid at times.
Axel has shown to be great with other dogs but is best suited in a home with a dog of similar sizing as large dogs tend to make him nervous. He could very much easily be an only dog as long as he got the love he very much deserves.
He is toilet trained, basic leash trained and also has some basic obedience. He is also quite tolerant of cats as well and hadn't shown any interest in chasing them.
Axel would suit a range of different households, either as a companion for retirement, a first easy family dog or a first single dog. He's not too fussy and definitely a breeze for his foster carers.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
