“George”, Mr Personality. Brisbane/Gold Coast

Hi, I’m George! People say I have BIG personality. I do love being the centre of attention, but that’s only fair because I’m such a good-looking guy (and I think my middle name is Clooney). I'm in foster care with Mildred, who is my best friend. I hope that we can find a home together.

I don’t need a large yard in my forever home, but I do enjoy my walks, and I get very excited when I see someone pick up my lead. I love being patted, brushed and even washed – any kind of attention is ok by me! I like hanging out with my foster carers’ grandchildren and licking their toes, although sometimes I forget how big I am and nearly knock them over, so older children will be best in my forever home. Small dogs and cats are a nuisance, and I’d chase them all away if my foster carers would let me.

My hobbies include getting cuddled, chasing sticks, and lying down on Mildred’s stick so she can’t reach it. I love my humans, and will stand in between them and any other dogs, to make sure they pat me first. I think life as a pet is an absolute lark and I can’t wait to find my forever family.
