Please meet Piccolo or Mr Pickle as his foster mum calls him!
Despite this boys past, he is a lovely natured boy with so much personality. He gets along fantastically with other dogs, both big and small as well as cats. While he gets along with children we would prefer him going to a home with older children as he is not really used to loud noises.
He loves to go for his daily walks and is coming along well with his basic obedience. Being a Chihuahua, he is quite the little guard dog but once you have quietened him, he will accept the new guests.
He is very affectionate, loves to lay on your lap or bed and loves cuddles.

As we rely on our foster carers (who are all volunteers and have families, jobs and pets of their own) to help with adoptions it may take a couple of days to organise for you to meet a dog once you have submitted your adoption application. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we work with you to ensure the perfect match for your family.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
