About Jax The Gentleman
What are all the amazing points about Jax? Well, where do we startll! He's calm, gentle, cuddly, has no separation anxiety so can be left at home all day (providing he gets exercise and mental stimulation as all dogs should!), Although he loves to go for walks and outings he's quite happy to hang at home with you too. He has lovely manners inside the house and is happy to sit by your side or lay at your feet. He's also very quiet and rarely barks.
He has a good understanding of commands and has been doing great in his training for walking on lead, when he first came from the shelter he was a bit stressed so used to pull a bit but has improved with the help of a Halti, when used correctly he responds really well to this so with a bit more practice he'll be walking loose lead in no time!
Jax is selective with dogs probably because he didnt have a lot of socialisation when he was young, he can play nicely or just be present with another dog but is still learning how to understand all the different types of dog temperaments so someone who'd take him to group classes where he can meet a few new friends would be great!
He's a bit too interested in cats and smaller animals to live with them and should be kept on lead on walks in case he spies a kitty!
Jax has been fostered with children and was great although given his size teenagers with a bit of know how with dogs is best for him.
Jax likes to play with his blue blanket! (see video). He's also learnt to play fetch and might like a squeaky ball or a kong with some yummy schmackos inside!
All in all Jax is a big cuddly lover and such an easy to manage dog, he'd be the perfect no fuss companion for a family. He also comes with a discount as he's one of our more mature aged gentlemen - $300 instead of $450! Pop us an email now to organise a meet and greet with Jax the Chilled Out Dude :-)
Medical notes
Jax is a healthy guy - desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm-treated.
