About Willoughby
Uniquely beautiful.
Willoughby cannot go anywhere without someone commenting on her beauty. It's not skin deep either as she is one of the sweetest and softest dogs you'll ever meet. Unfortunately, Willoughby is scared of strangers and new people are not given the privilege of seeing this side of her. However, once she knows you, she just shines in every possible way.
The off lead dog park is one of her favourite places. She absolutely loves to stretch her legs and has excellent social skills. Willoughby likes to say hi to most of the dogs in the park unless they are giving off signs that ask her to stay away. Her recall is quite good and she has never run off from her foster carer. Watch out if there is a puddle because Willoughby thinks that running through them multiple times at speed is an awesome game! When she is off lead and a stranger walks by she just keeps a safe distance away but will often circle behind them and give them a sniff to check them out.
Another favourite thing is affection. Once she accepts you, Willoughby loves pats, especially a chest rub. We are looking for a family where someone is home most of the time and where she will be allowed in the house so she can keep you company and vice versa. She is a very loyal dog who is often found asleep at her foster carers feet. Willoughby is house trained and also crate trained, and has basic obedience and good manners. She walks lovely on the lead and will sit and wait before eating her meals.
When this girl wags her tail, her whole body wags as well. Do you have the patience to wait a few hours for Willoughby to trust you? If you do let us know and in return you'll get one of the most affectionate and sweet dogs out.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
