River is more like a dog at times than a cat - chasing balls, playing with the dog in his foster home and jumping up to greet his people when they get home.

But in typical cat style, he loves having a nice sunny spot where he can watch the world go by, including spying on his people outside. He gets along well with his foster family's older cats and enjoys playing with kids. River is very independent though, and is happy playing on his own so would suit any family structure.
