Sargy was initially the sookiest pup however he has done a complete 360 and is now the most independent little man. His markings are absolutely beautiful and he has the most defined ridge out of all his siblings. He is able to sit and shake for his food on his own and is almost toilet trained, he just needs reminding sometimes that outside is for toileting. Sarge loves his foster sister Husky and tries his best to keep up with her when they sprint around the yard. He is an easy going guy, he's happy to hang out with you or a doggy friend when you're not around. He loves his toys and a good rumble with a doggy friend and hasn't chewed anything that isn't his. He is super cheeky and super smart, he is also a very affectionate boy who loves kisses and cuddles on the couch at night. He will try to trick you and work his charms so will need a confident leader. He is crate trained and would benefit from continuation of this in his new home.
Sarge will need a home with another dog for company.

As we rely on our foster carers (who are all volunteers and have families, jobs and pets of their own) to help with adoptions it may take a couple of days to organise for you to meet a dog once you have submitted your adoption application. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we work with you to ensure the perfect match for your family.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
