About Adeline
Adeline is a lovely settled, affectionate and sensible girl with beautiful pale green eyes and a short while & calico coat. Adeline came into PMCA care after being abandoned for euthanasia at one of our rescue vets by her 'owners' , suffering tick paralysis. A first they claimed she was a stray, but it soon became clear that she was their pet and they didn't want to take responsibility for her treatment or care. Adeline had 2 older kittens who were also surrendered and who we took into foster care. Adeline spent nearly a week hospitalised and pulled through against slim odds. Adeline would suit many family and home situations as a easygoing, low maintenance indoor puss. She is accustomed to children but is not a crazy playing cat, more inclined to sit back elegantly and watch proceedings. She is super affectionate and aims to please though isn't enraptured with overhandling when visiting the vet ( not surprising! ) . She would also suit apartment living and is also independent and settled enough to remain at home with a working family. She would be fine with another settled, placid cat or friendly, calm dog given the proper introduction period and routine. Adeline deserves a lovely settled home with a family who will never let her down as she has been before.
Medical notes
Adeline was diagnosed with a Grade 1-2 heart murmur after her treatment for tick poisoning.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
