About Gittz
Gittz is a very energetic, super affectionate, puppy who has missed out on so much in his short life. His previous owners had no time for him so he spent his days and nights outside, forgotten. Gittz is still very much a puppy and will need ongoing training. As he was left to fend for himself most of the time, he needs a refresher course on good manners such as not jumping up etc. He is a very active boy and will need a good hour of off leash exercise per day. This breed also requires loads of attention and cubbles, so a home where someone is around often would be best. As gittz has a wool mix coat, he will need to be clipped at the groomers about every 2 - 3 months. These dogs end up in all sorts of trouble if their coat is not kept in top condition. In his photo you will see that he has been shaved off, even his tail had to be clipped right back due to severe matting. Gittz is excellent off the lead, he doesn't tend to run off too far and will come as soon as he is called. He loves to meet new dogs and makes friends very quickly. Gittz has been brought up in a home with children and adores them. He is very exuberant so would not be suited to a family with very young children. Gittz is toilet trained and travels well in the car. He loves a good long game of fetch with the ball, which is excellent because it is a great way for him to expend huge amounts of energy. He has a low shedding coat that is suitable for people with allergies. It also means that you don't get hair on your cloths or the couch!!! his coat is super soft and like silk to touch. In a few weeks his hair will grow back into beautiful golden curls. These are fantastic animals but they need large amounts of love, exercise and regular grooming. Gittz is a wonderful bundle of joy that will add so much fun and warmth to his new home. If it sounds like gittz suits your lifestyle he is sitting by the phone waiting for your call!
