Angel

I’m only 13 months old and I’ve already spent more than 125 LONG DAYS without a home. That’s a big part of my short life.

A shelter environment is not the right place for a dog to grow up. I need a real home.

I’m Angel. I ended up in an animal shelter when I wandered too far from home all the way back in October. I was young, lost and alone. I waited there for months for my person to claim me but they never came.

It appeared no-one else wanted to make me a part of their family either but thankfully I was transferred to Lort Smith Adoption Centre in December to help find me a new home.

I’d love to say the time has flown by but it hasn’t always been easy. I’ve watched so many other dogs arrive and be chosen to go to new homes while I wait here.

They’re good to me at Lort Smith. I get plenty of walks, pats and attention but I want to find a home.

I know I’m bigger than a lot of the other dogs. However, surely there’s someone out there for me.

I need an owner who is active, will take me on long walks and commit to ongoing training. I'm looking for a home with no small animals or livestock.

It has to be my turn to find my forever home soon.
