Hi! Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi!!!
I’m TEDDY! Yes, that’s me, Teddy! Like Ted-E-Bear, like cuddle me, like, give me all the food and cuddles and food and food and cuddles and FOOD! I’m a Loveador! I mean Labrador, but both are true really! I LOVE LIFE and food. I’d love to meet you and your food. I mean YOU. (And your food.)

Personality: I’m enthusiastic! I’m happy! I’m joyful! I am a big fan of exclamation marks! Everything is awesome!

Size: You know what they say, bigger is better right?! Ok, I’m a little on the chunky side but that’s because I once heard that I shouldn’t eat all the food or I’d get fat and I thought fat sounded AMAZING so I gave it a go. Yes, it was great eating all the food, but now I’m stuck on a diet to get back to a ‘one Labrador size dog’ instead of a ‘two Labradors stuck together’ size dog.

Eyes: Hungry... uh, for love.

Coat: I’m a natural blonde! Ok, so I’m missing a few bits here and there due to my not-so-great life before I was taken in by Desperate for Love, but I’m doing my best to grow those bits back!

My interests: I bet you think it’s going to be about food? See you know me SO WELL ALREADY! We should definitely meet up. I also love walks in the park, playing with doggy friends, sniffing the grass and the trees. Oh! I love watching people make dinner. I won’t get in the way though, just think of me as an interested bystander watching an artist at work. I will also happily double as a vacuum cleaner should you drop anything and need it taken care of.

My skills: Man am I cute. I totally nail cute. I thought I was cute as a puppy, but old age just really agrees with me and I have ‘levelled up’ when it comes to cute. What do you mean being cute isn’t a skill? IT IS.

I’m also super good as sitting and lying down when asked, and could easily be taught new tricks… with the right motivation… see what I did there? I mentioned food without saying the word food. Oh wait. D’oh!

My bucket list: Hmm, my bucket list includes a ‘cake smash’ photo shoot, (can you even imagine!?) and lovely walks with my new family. Plus nights where we all hang out and watch TV together. How lovely, to be a part of a family.

My ideal match: Oooh a doggy chef? Nah just kidding, I don’t care if it’s ‘floor food’ so a chef would be wasted on me! My ideal match would be someone (a family, couple or single person) who wants to help me heal physically and give me a fabulous life full of love and cuddles. I’d love a doggy friend to live with too, that’d be great!

More info: This bit isn’t much fun but don’t worry, I don’t let my past get me down so please don’t let it get you down either. I have spent the last six months in foster care working on healing. I came to Desperate for Love very overweight with skin conditions, infected ears, overgrown claws and barely any fur. I was a bit sad and naked looking.

I am feeling A LOT better now, but I still need TLC and a family committed to caring for me in my twilight years. Thanks for reading about me! Can’t wait to meet you!
