About Mae
Mae is a sweet English Staffy with a super friendly disposition. She was fine around my cats when meeting them, and loves cuddles with people. She plays with male dogs of all sizes with no worries, but is bossy towards female dogs.
Mae loves to follow people around and will chase a ball or play with toys.
Rescued from a country pound Mae walks well on the lead and travels well in the car. She doesnt make the usual staffy whine but does do the occasional little trill of sound like she is talking to you. When caged or separated from the action she is quiet and doesnt complain. She rarely barks and seems to want to be inside but not tested for housetraining as yet.
Medical notes
Mae has been tested for Heartworm, she was negative so we have started monthly chews for prevention.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
