**adoption pending** max is only 22 months old & his racing career was cut very short due to a toe injury. Of course, he is now lucky to enjoy the lifestyle of pampered pet which he thinks is great! max is young & smart, friendly & affectionate, & very responsive. Unfortunately, he was a "wagger" & injured his tail which led to it being removed, so he only has a shortish stump but it does not detract from his good looks
