“I’m Adam and me and my friend Amelia arrived together looking a bit neglected! Thanks to the volunteers at GR I’m now a happy healthy boy and ready for a home. I am a bit of a dude and think myself quite the first man about town (well, so was my namesake after all!) and looking for my very own Eden. The paradise I have in mind has a couch, room for me to explore and have a zoomie or two, no cats or small dogs, lots of yummy breakfasts and dinners… ummmm….. Oh yes – I nearly forgot the humans! I would really like a human or two to keep me company, give me lots of pats and cuddles and take me for walks. I’m not too fussy about the cooking skills, as long as it's food. I love food. Lots of it, to make up for the times when I didn’t have much. So if you think your house is a slice of Eden and your larder is full, get in touch with the volunteers info@greyhoundrescue.com.au”

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
