Annie (a most gentle young girl)

Our Annie is not only lovely to look at, she is just as lovely inside. Calm and gentle with a naturally friendly temperament, affectionate with her humans and good with other dogs, Annie will make a wonderful family companion.

Rescued from a rural pound Annie was shy and unsure of things when she first arrived at her foster home. She’s now come out of her shell, is growing in confidence and greets people with a full body wag, a smile that extends from her tail to her face :)) Annie can still be a little shy and sometimes needs encouragement to come forward, but is very responsive to affection, and to treats. She’s now house trained, is learning her basic commands and to walk on leash, and loves riding in the car.

Annie is not a high energy dog. She enjoys running around the yard with the other dogs in the home, and enjoys walks and outings, but seems just as happy with quiet time, relaxing with her pack (human or doggie). She is only a young dog so will need some exercise each day.

Our vets think Annie is around 2 years old; she weighs 21 kg and appears to be in very good health. We think Annie may have Staffy and Labrador in her mix but cannot be certain. She is certainly a beautiful looking dog with her thick blonde coat and white markings.

Annie is looking for a home where she will be an inside/outside dog and a cherished member of the family. She would love to have a doggie companion in her new home. If you like the sound of Annie and are prepared to continue to work on building her confidence, then she would love to hear from you.
