About Lucy
Lucy is a playful young lady looking for a a forever home that can offer her some play time and loving attention.
She is a one and a half year old Kelpie x Beagle, so loves a bit of excitement in her life. Lucy enjoys as many walks as she can get, a throw of the ball or a bit of keepings off with soft toys. If she needs to entertain herself she is happy to chase the birds around the back yard or chew on some bones or toys.
She also loves a trip in the car and causes no trouble sitting in the back seat.
Lucy is very happy and friendly when greeting new people. But she can get a bit excited and boisterous when she wants to play, so she would suit a home where there are older children and people can direct her with strong commands. She knows how to ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ and ‘come’ on command, and she will also go to her bed when told.
Lucy is happy to sleep and spend time inside or out, but does want to spend time with her family.
She is toilet trained, but in her new home she might take a day or two to get used to where she needs to go and what she needs to do to let you know she needs to go out. But once Lucy is comfortable and settled in, she will wait by the door to be let out.
When spending some quiet time with you, Lucy will amusingly request pats by pawing. She will rest at your feet or with her head in your lap.
Lucy is an affectionate caring girl just looking for a family to return the same happiness she can offer them.
