About Rusty (Foster carer required)
Rusty is a sweet, loving active boy who desperately wants to be loved and to know what it feels like to belong somewhere. He is currently in foster care on a property with 5 other dogs of all sizes and ages and enjoys his daily runs in the paddock with his fellow foster siblings.
When Rusty arrived into our care, he was suffering anxiety quite badly but with the help of natural calming chews and a stable and happy foster home, this boy is now thriving and loving life just as he should be.
We would love to see Rusty be adopted into a home with another doggie companion with similar energy levels and in a home with a good sized yard or property where he has the room to run and live out his dream. He is still a young dog and ongoing training will be required. He responds well to his name and will sit on command. Being such a young energetic doggie, Rusty will need plenty of chew toys, kongs and other toys to occupy his active mind while his family are away.
Rusty is great with kids and loves the interaction with them. He loves to chase the kids on their motorbikes around the paddock, join in on the slip n slide and swimming. Children over 8yrs would be best suited for this boy due to his energy level.
Rusty is currently in foster care in Cooronbong, NSW and is available for adoption now.

When enquiring about Rusty, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
