Rocko is an amazing dog with capital p Potential! He’ll make you laugh, he’ll make you feel special and he’ll make you proud. A champion on the lead, and verbally responsive off lead, Rocko is quick to train due to his intelligence, desire to please and his love of food! When his carer leaves the house, he sits and stays as she’s leaving the yard, even while the gates are open. He loves his trips to the park and beach and plays well with other unknown dogs. His foster mother says he is a beautiful soul who loves affection. When she sits down, he immediately comes over and puts his head on her lap.

He has the true Blue Heeler disposition of being active and intelligent. So what he will need from you to be a brilliant pet is consistency in providing a lot of human company, enrichment activities, lots of exercise and training. Like many heelers he has a tendency to protect his territory by barking so would make a fabulous watch dog. But, just for fun, he also loves to bark at birds and motorbikes. He would make an awesome site supervisor (aka tradie’s dog) or be great for a family with older children or indeed suit anyone who enjoys putting the time into a working dog breed.

He loves water and chew toys. He’ll put his whole head under the surface in a bucket of water. He loves sitting in the shell pool, playing in it and best of all, splashing water from the shell pool all over himself. If you turn the hose on, he’ll jump into the spray with his mouth open, trying to catch it.

Rocko is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations and toilet trained.
