About Lilo (lee-lo)
Introducing the very sweet, smart and affectionate Lilo (pronounced Lee-lo).
Lilo is estimated to be approximately 14 months of age and has recently raised 9 puppies with great care and affection. It is now her time to shine, and we can't believe she hasn't been snapped up yet!
DNA testing has identified that Lilo is Husky X Malamute X Golden Retriever.
Lilo loves a cuddle and comes up seeking affection. She has been socialised with many people of all ages and with other dogs. We would not recommend her for a home with birds, as she is a skilful bird catcher and suspect she may not be good with cats either (and would err on the side of caution with this one).
Lilo is in a foster placement with 3 other large dogs and a small elderly Maltese terrier. She is kept separate from the cat and from the chooks who are in a secure pen. She is on 20 acres and can jump the farm fencing but stays on the property, unless she has a willing companion to head on adventures with.
While Lilo is not a huge digger or high jumper, she is super smart and will require a secure yard with decent fencing to keep her safe .
Our ideal home for Lilo would be with someone who will cherish her, take her places and allow her some time inside. She loves water, so would enjoy having access to the beach or similar. She would also go very well with another social dog as a play mate, preferably a male.
Lilo is happy to be inside or outside, as long as she is part of the family.
Lilo is house trained, sits on command and has quite good recall for a husky x. She will attach well to people and pets in her new family. She needs further practice walking on a lead.
Lilo will go to her new home desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and vaccinated.
