About Chester
Chester is a 2 year old male Cairn terrier x. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. Chester’s first love is playing ball and he could go all day if you were happy to play that long with him. Any ball is fine by him, and he’ll play anywhere anytime. He also loves to go for a drive in the car and travels well. Chester is currently in foster care with two cats and three other dogs and he doesn't seem fussed with either. He would be suitable to go into a home with cats or dogs but he doesn’t “need” companionship other than you. He would do better with a calm mature dog. A puppy or boisterous dog would clash with his nature. He has shown some possessive behaviours over toys which we have been working on, and is learning that growling is not get him anywhere. Chester is learning to walk nicely on lead. He sits on command and can hold a drop for around 20 minutes (so far). His recall is a work in progress. He will need a firm but loving family who are happy to continue his training. He is a fairly independent little soul but loves his attention and a good patting.
Medical notes
Chester has no known special medical needs.
