Hunter

Hi! My name is Hunter. I'm from Pedigree American Staffordshire Bull Terrier parents. I was the most petite of my litter. My owners had a baby and wanted me to go.

I was raised with a desexed male chihuahua who I got along with great, but apart from that my last owners didn't socialise me very well so I get a bit over excited when meeting new canine friends. I do settle down though and am very eager to please my humans. Crate training and good leadership make me feel calm and happy. I am naturally dominant so if there is already a dog in your family it would make me feel comfortable if I was the dominant dog and they were submissive. I love to play with toys but when you need me to sit and be quiet that's definitely ok with me. I love to snooze in the sun and can be very lazy.

I know to sit for my food and my foster mum is teaching me to 'wait'. I love fetch but am happy with any game. Especially those played with human children, who I adore! I am very patient and gentle with children. I need slow introductions to cats but I do come around after a bit!
