Hendrix ~ Mastiff X ~ Puppy (On Trial 23/2/16)

Meet Hendrix! Hendrix is a 12-week-old Mastiff X male puppy. his breed has been up for much debate, but through careful examination, Mastiff has been the general vote for this mixed breed boy.

Hendrix is a sweet, handsome and cuddly little fellow who just wants love and attention. Hendrix has big loveable brown eyes and a mixed coloured coat with gorgeous white socks up his legs.

Hendrix’s favourite things to do are play with his sister Marley, cuddling with his foster Mum and going on adventures in the big backyard with his working dog foster brother and sisters, who tower over him.

Hendrix will grow up to be a large size dog, and he will need secure fencing (colourbond recommended). Due to his potential size, a home with rural or wire fencing will not be considered unless there is a colourbond fence within the perimeter.

Hendrix is very active and adventurous, so he will need to be exercised every day, and due to his age he will need someone who is home for most of the day - or another energetic dog to keep him company. If you don’t have a dog, and you're not home a lot, applications will also be considered if you would like to adopt his sister (Marley), as well as Hendrix, as they share an incredible bond and enjoy doing everything together.

Hendrix really loves his cuddles and human companionship and is currently sleeping inside with his foster family (where he is most comfortable). He will need to go to a home where he can be both inside and outside.

Like all puppies, Hendrix is still taking steps in toilet training and basic
commands. He will need to have toilet training continued at his forever home. We always recommend puppy pre-school for all puppies for the best head start in socialization and creating a special bond with his new parents.

As Hendrix is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's 4 or 5 months old - and they are limited to these areas.
