Leo

Lovely leggy Leo is a large, gentle lad. He absolutely adores human company, and tends to follow you around the house just to be near you. He is quite happy sleeping on his bed and though he hasn’t tried getting up on his foster carer’s bed but it could be only a matter of time before he tries :) He is living with another greyhound and gets on well with other dogs.

Leo is a pleasure to walk and has gone from not wanting to be near a car, to jumping in the boot of a stationwagon whenever he sees the door open. He has been very relaxed in all the situations he has been placed in so far – walking through Surfers Paradise markets at night, strolling by the beach at Burleigh or hanging out with lots of other greyhounds at the Friends of the Hound Christmas party. He’s learnt all about stairs and is quite competent on the internal stairs, the external (see-through) stairs are still a work in progress. Going down is ok but coming up is still a bit scary. Leo will be a lovely addition to someone’s family.
