About Checkers
Checkers is one of three siblings surrendered to the pound along with their mother Josie (also for adoption). The most independent of the litter, Checkers is always off on his own adventures..... usually involving the button jar or a ball of wool. He is always happy to accept head scratches and belly rubs and is a very friendly little guy once he gets to know you.
When first in care these little cuties where extremely timid, any attempt to pat or play was met with fear and hesitation. They are still learning to trust people but have come a long way!
Checkers has an adorable crooked blaze and the softest tummy. He's ready to find a place in a kind, patient home where he can take some time to build his confidence and truly belong.
He will be available for adoption December 19th but deposits are welcome before then.
Adoption details
Prospective owners contact carers via email or phone, they can come and meet the animal and make application.
Once the animal is desexed and all vet work is done the animal can be adopted.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
