About Indi
Hello everyone, my name is Indi and I am a purebred American Stafford. I am still a baby, only 14 weeks old. I have had a pretty average start to life already. I was taken to a pet shop with my brothers and sisters when we were quite young. The pet shop sold all of my brothers and sisters and I was left behind. The reason I was left behind is because my front legs looked different to my siblings. The pet shop thought I had ‘bowed legs’. I was then rescued by AOSR who took me to the vets straight away to be checked. I had some x-rays done and great news! My bones in my front legs are fine! The vets had no cause for concern at the moment and they say that I would more than likely grow out of this. My foster mum was so happy to hear this. I am on special food to ensure I don’t grow too quickly. The vets say I will need to have more x-rays done at 12 months when I am fully grown to make sure my legs have developed correctly. I don’t know why my foster mum is so worried about me, I am just a little fun loving puppy! I run around with the cats and my foster siblings and I don’t feel any pain at all. My legs sometimes get a little weak and start shaking but I know my limits and put myself in time out when I have had enough. I really chewing on my toys, but bark is my favourite. My foster mum is toilet training me and I am learning so fast. I sometimes still have little accidents but I don’t mean it. I sleep in my crate at night time and I don’t cry, probably because I have so many toys in my crate to keep me occupied. I would really like to find my forever family, but heard my foster family saying that they are going to be really picky with who gets to adopt me. If you’re anything like my foster family and think I am just the cutest little girl, please send them an email and I’m sure they would love to hear from you.

Medical notes
Indi may potentially need surgery on her legs when she is older. X-rays have been done at 13 weeks and will be available for the adoptive parents to keep for reference.
