About Dasher D0294
Dasher is a curious mix of (best guess) Jack Russell and Dachshund. He is only a small dog but full of character. He gets on fine with the 11 year old in his foster home, and with adults he's met, and with the other dog in the home although he does carry on when he sees other dogs if he's out for a walk or if they pass by his home and he can see them. Therefore he would need training and patience to improve in this area, or maybe to be walked when there's little chance of meeting other dogs!
He would be best as an only dog or will need to be introduced to your dog if you have another, to ensure he gets along with him/her. He does seem to be ok when in a yard with other dogs, just when he meets strange dogs.
Dasher is an active little boy who is always on the go. Might be a bit too bouncy for very young kids. He likes to be involved in whatever you are doing and is a busybody.
He could do with some training in the basics of obedience as he has obviously not had this in his old home, but with a few treats this should not be too hard. Being a male he may 'mark' when he first enters a house. Unfortunately many male dogs have this habit of making new areas theirs. This can be controlled with a spray bottle or your voice and he does not do it long term. He is not a barker in his foster home/yard.
Dasher doesn't like cats at all and would not be suitable for a home with cats.
If you want a dog bursting with character and who's a bit of a challenge, then this could be your man.
Please submit an enquiry with info about your:-

Medical notes
Adoption includes vet check with flea and worm treatment, vaccination, microchip and sterilisation. All vet care complete.
Dasher's legs have over extended ligaments. This is a very common condition where the ligament has grown quicker than the bone in the legs. It should not affect him - makes his legs look a bit bowed and he might not be an Olympic runner. The condition should not require any medical treatment.
