About Murphy
Murphy is an adorable puppy who loves running around with the other dogs in foster care with him. He is also in foster care with a cat who he shown no interest in. He is gentle with kids and loves cuddles. He is well behaved, is learning to sit on command and is great with any dog he meets. Murphy LOVES playing in water and can quite often be found hanging in his shell pool. He thinks the beach is the best place in the world.
As he still a puppy it would be ideal for Murphy to have ongoing training for his manners like basic cues and calming techniques. He is food motivated and very trainable. When leaving him home alone he would really benefit from enrichments and boredom busters such as Kong’s bones to chew on lots of toys to play with and treats around the backyard that way he can keep herself occupied until you get home to play and walk him. As Murphy is still a puppy he is too young to be left alone for long periods of time. He would need to go to a home where someone is home quite a lot or who have another dog to keep him company. It is also important that he is welcome inside to be part of the family. As with all puppies, Murphy is still learning all the tricks and lessons that will help him become a well-rounded and good dog.

When enquiring about Murphy, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
