About Miss Dior ~ Kelpie X ~ Puppy (On Trial 13/12/15)
Miss Dior is a sweet little Kelpie X girl who will absolutely melt your heart when she shoots you her ‘look at me aren’t I gorgeous’ look. She came into care of DRN 18/11/2015 from Mudgee Pound, at which time she was believed to be approximately 8 weeks. She is now approximately 11 weeks, and since she has come into care she has blended in brilliantly with the 3 other pups that she now calls her sisters. She is only tiny, but she sure can mix it up with the bigger girls.
She is a bright little lady who is learning to come when called and sit when asked. Although, at this time, to say she is not impressed with having that thing attached to her collar (a lead ) is an understatement. Especially when the others are running around free, but she is learning.
She would definitely benefit from attending puppy pre-school and we always recommend this for puppies to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
If you would like to find out more about her, or how you can go about adopting her, you can contact her carer Anne her on 0412 837 867 or by email anne_armitage@bigpond.com
As Miss Dior is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she's 4 or 5 months old.
Miss Dior’s adoption fee is only $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
