About Cookie3
Cookie is a sheltie cross who was rescued by her neighbour. He asked her owners permission and she agreed that she was not able to look after her properly any more. Cookie was taken to our vet for a check-up de-sex immunised heart worm checked. She also had her teeth cleaned when she was desexed. She is now a new dog with a new lease of life which is wonderful to see. She plays with her kennel mate all day loves going for walks having cuddles and learning new things. For someone looking for an older dog who is past being a puppy but loves to play and be with you she would make a great companion.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
