Jax * I'm just $200! *

Jax is a happy and beautiful soul who is doing well in care, and proving to be a very quick learner. Jax is deaf, but this doesn't stop him from living his life to the fullest!

Jax is an affectionate boy who loves to be around his people, but he is equally happy to spend time outdoors to play with his toys or the neighbours dog! He is a tiny ACD, weighing just under 15kg. Not being sensitive to sound, Jax doesn't react to normal neighbour noises like dogs barking, car doors, and thunder storms don't bother him

Jax has given his foster family so much love, fun and laughter! To describe Jax, they say 'When you are happy, he will bring you additional joy. When you are down, he will sit next to you and look at you as if to say "are you ok?"

Jax wakes us up every morning and gives his people morning hugs and kisses. He then carries his toys around and plays with his humans and the other dog that he lives with. He is playful and is a perfect family dog to be living in a house with children, dogs and cats. On top of that, he is well loved by all visiting family and friends.

Jax loves swimming and going to dog parks. He is toilet trained, house trained and can understand over 10 different commands~ even though he is deaf! He is a smart cookie, and has learnt hand signals

When people are first told Jax is deaf, they are unfortunately put off, and not willing to give him a chance . However, after a short period of time, Jax has proven to all of us that he is just like any other dogs, but maybe just a little more intelligent!

This beautiful soul, Jax is also called a Guard dog by those that know him - He is protective of his family and home, but knows to be friendly to his family's guests. He just knows who can be trusted and who cannot.

At this time in his life, he needs nothing more than a loving permanent home. He will not chew your shoes, he will be easy with food, he will not join your neighbours' dogs barking, he will protect your house and will bring you so much love and joy.

One more special thing about Jax....he has met his neighbours cat, and we are glad to say he is not phased by the cat at all! So could be homed in a house with a cat :)
