About Barney
What a fun loving boy!
Barney is a happy go lucky fellow who just loves to be with people & a tummy rub just makes his day!
Barney has not had any training in the past, but is willing to learn & picks up tricks & lessons quickly.
He will make a great family dog as he is small enough not to knock the littlies over, but big enough to happily join in games with older kids.
Barney is intrigued by squeaky toys, but does not quite understand that they are for him to play with & chasing a ball is fun, but bringing it back to start the game again is a work in progress.
Barney gets on with other dogs, is not fussed by chooks but would prefer a home where he is the only dog as he thrives on attention focused on him! He does not stop smiling, loves to sit at your feet & wants to show how much love he has to give.
Barney is an easy care boy who will brighten your world & make you laugh at his antics.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
