Coco ~ Mastiff X ~ Puppy on trial 10/01/16

Coco is a charming little Mastiff X girl, 12 weeks old. Coco is a serial snuggler and loves to cuddle up and get a belly rub (that is, when she’s had enough running around with the rest of the pack). She is quite the explorer and will investigate whatever there is hiding around the yard. She is such a cutie and she thinks she is a great addition to the garden - whether digging out weeds or just laying around looking cute. She sometimes gets a bit carried away with her weeding but once she hears a firm voice telling her no she will acknowledge the command and move onto something else. Normally a game of chase with her sisters to show she isn’t bothered.

Coco came into the care of DRN 18/11/2015 with 5 of her siblings from Mudgee Pound. We believe they were born on 29/09/2015, making them 12 weeks old, and their breed cannot be guaranteed.

She is doing well with her training and will come when called and sit for a treat or her dinner. We are getting her used to being on a lead, she is not to keen but she will learn soon enough. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Coco is in foster care in Charlestown (20 minutes south west of Newcastle) with her sisters – Chanel, Shamilar, and Miss Dior.

As Coco is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she's 4 or 5 months old.
