About Jak on Hold
Bright, bubbly happy but sometimes shy, Jak is very different little dog. He is young at five months and would benefit from some training. He gets along well with other dogs and is not worried about cats at all. He is house trained and was sleeping beside his owners bed. He is not recommended for elderly owners but active couples or families will love his exuberance and playfulness. He has just begun chasing a thrown rope toy and already knows how to sit and shake hands. He is smart and will learn quickly but he is still shy and needs to gain some confidence. He is used to a lead and car travel and has been a much loved pooch. Jak is being fostered in Cootamundra NSW. He has only just come into care so we need some time to get to know him better. He may not be available until after Christmas.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
