On Hold
About Jed - on hold
Jed is a very loving, cuddly dog who loves walks and playing with his ball. He adores people and gets on well with other dogs. He was surrendered by his loving family after their son became afraid of him. He is medium sized, strong and healthy but will need some grooming and some attention should be paid to keep his ears from matting. As you can see from his pics he has been recently groomed down for the summer and he handled this well. He is best suited to a family with older children or a couple as he may be a bit defensive of his food so care needs to be taken to ensure he can eat away from other dogs and small children. He is not aggressive at all but he guards his dinner plate to some degree. He is a lovely example of the breed and would make a wonderful companion. He travels well in the car and loves to make new friends.
Jed is located in Narrandera NSW
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
