Sam - Blue Heeler on trial 5/02/16

Introducing our distinguished gentleman Sam, a 9 year old Blue Heeler. Don't let Sam's age fool you, he still has lots of love to give his forever family and can't wait to meet you.

Being an older gentleman with a lot of life experience, Sam has impeccable manners inside the home and will sit and wait to eat on command.

Sam is house trained and enjoys being an inside dog, but also loves basking in the sunshine outdoors. As Sam is not a digger or jumper, standard fence height is sufficient.

Sam enjoys a leisurely stroll and never pulls on his lead. He would be suited to a couple or family with older kids who understand he is no longer in his puppy years.

As with most dogs, he is not fond of storms/fireworks and will look for a reassuring cuddle from you during these times. Sam is also not a fan of cats, so his forever home would be one that he wouldn't have to share with felines.

Being left alone at home for a few hours is fine with Sam, but he adores the company of his humans and would not be suited to a home where he was left alone all day by himself. His perfect family would be one where he was included as part of the family and will happily sit with you watching tv or having quiet time. Sam loves his pats and cuddles and is really looking forward to finding his forever home.
