About Bentley *On Trial in His New Home*
*BENTLEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Bodacious Bentley is ready to meet his new family! He would love a home where he’s allowed inside and would benefit from a canine companion if you’re away for much of the day. Bentley is a friendly, outgoing boy who just wants to be part of a family no matter how big or small.
Rescued from our local pound, where he’d ended up through no fault of his own, Bentley is described as a confident and affectionate pup who’s not at all licky or in your face. We’re not sure what breeds he’s made up of although we did hear there was some Staghound and Boxer in him (even though his colouring is all wrong), though after much debate and watching him grow we reckon there’s definitely Bull Arab in there – whatever he is it’s a perfect mix as he has such a wonderful nature! And we’re guesstimating he’ll be Labrador sized once he finishes growing.
Bentley is proving he’s an intelligent pup as he’s already picked up toilet-training, knows “sit” and quickly got the hang of a good game of fetch, bringing the ball back every time. It certainly helps that he’s in care with two older, medium-large dogs who have been showing him the ropes, even telling Bentley off when his puppy antics get too much! He knows his name and loves treats (which he takes gently), so this should help with any further training as he’s keen to learn and please his humans.
As Bentley’s in foster care on acreage he still needs to learn how to walk on a lead, however his confidence and eagerness for new experiences would help accomplish this in a short time.

This adorable pup enjoys playing with toys especially his beloved teddies and he LOVES water, so much so that his foster carer refers to him as “the submarine” as he likes to duck-dive in his doggie pool! He’s also a good little watchdog letting them know when something’s not quite right in Bentley’s world.
As Bentley is toilet-trained he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home with secure fencing, bones to chew on and lots of cuddles.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
