Mr Jinx

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it!!
Mr jinx came into the pound with a matted coat that had to be seen to be believed! the very kind ranger who picked mr jinx up felt very sorry for him so set to work clipping him off as mr jinx had probably never been groomed in his entire life.  the hair covered his entire face preventing mr jinx from seeing anything but shadows and light and dark.  despite all of this, mr jinx just wagged his tail and did not object to being clipped one bit. It never ceases to amaze us how these dogs can have such great temperaments when they obviously come from very neglectful homes. Mr jinx was microchipped therefore we know his age and when his owner was contacted she was annoyed that the ranger had clipped him off and wanted him back!!!!! thankfully the awl had seen the dog's condition when picked up and taken pictures as proof of his neglect so the owner then decided that wanting him back was not such a good idea as it would have cost them a lot of money in fines etc. As luck would have it a kind person contacted paws and asked if we would like to take jinx from the pound and rehome him. No sooner said than done! we love these little guys and were only to happy to turn this little pauper into a little prince. Mr jinx has only been with his carer for two days and already he is part of the pack, trying to play with the other shih tzu's and enjoying life as it should be for a little dog like him. Mr jinx only had a couple of 'accidents' when he arrived but today he has been fine. He slept happily in the laundry last night on a lovely comfy dog cushion and we doubt he has ever had a cushion or seen the inside of a house before. Mr jinx enjoys his food, loves toys, going for walks and, when sleeping, has the typical shih tzu snore.  mr jinx would love a home with another small dog for company or alternatively a home where the mum or dad don't work five days a week as its a lonely life for a little dog on his own for hours on end. Mr jinx is a house dog with a high maintenance coat which will require regular grooming and will look a million dollars when it grow back in about four weeks time. Mr jinx comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $330.
