About Duke (Cat/Child/Dog Friendly)
Duke was found wondering the streets of Casino and was picked up by the local ranger. Duke's previous owners did not come fourth and claim him and he is now in the care of Wally's Doggie Rescue.
Duke is a large mix breed Rottweiler x German Shepard x Rhodesian Ridgeback. He loves his humans, and foster host dogs. Not phased by the cats and has met the other family members including a rabbit and poultry.
Duke is fed a premium diet of Royal Canin puppy biscuits and raw chicken mince. Duke is under weight and is being fed 3 times a day. Duke will happily share his bowl with his foster siblings, but does eat his food rather quickly, when placed in front of him.
Duke is learning to be inside dog and is currently learning his basic obedience training of walking on a lead, sit and stay. Duke has great recall off lead as well, in the front yard.
Duke is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea/heartworm treated and desexed! Duke awaits his forever home for christmas!
A meet and greet of the beautiful Duke can be arranged.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Duke, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Duke.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Duke is located on Central Coast in Green Point,NSW.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
