About Mack
This is by far the hardest profile I've had to write....This gorgeous boy was surrendered into Wally's care 7.5 mths ago along with his 3 sisters who have all since found wonderful homes. Mack won my husbands heart and he came to us as a foster at 4.5 mths old. Unfortunately, he is not coping well with being one of many dogs and would prefer to be your one and only special mate.
This heartbreaking decision has not come as an easy one, which is why this handsome young man will only be going to THE perfect home. One where he will continue to be loved as we have done, where he will be allowed to live both inside and outside as part of the family and snuggle with you, which he absolutely loves!
Mack has been well socialised with dogs of all ages and sizes but although he enjoys a good rumble with his fellow furry friends and even a snuggle at times, there has been occasions where he has shown some aggression towards them when in their company at all times. For this reason, Mack would be best suited in an only dog home.
Mack loves people....he adores children and loves to come with you wherever you go. He loves to be included in everything you do and loves to sleep next to you more than anything. He will sit and wait for his dinner and will more often than not sit without command when he thinks he is getting a treat of some sort. He is fully toilet trained, has no issue with using a doggie door and is fantastic inside the home, although does like to sneak off with the odd shoe, sock or pair of undies if any are left laying around. He is on a diet of kibble, chicken wings, chicken mince with vegies and rice for dinner and loves his dentastix chew of a morning.
Mack loves his walks and is very submissive when meeting new dogs when out and about, often resulting in him rolling straight onto his back and peeing a little bit. It would very much be in Mack's best interests to keep up the dog socialization and have play dates with fellow furry friends but does like to be your one and only at home.
Staffies require a good pack leader and ongoing training, so to help with this, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Mack.
Mack is fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and heartwormed and is in foster care in Blue Haven on the Central Coast. He is available for a meet and greet now.
Medical notes
Recently, he has had some Demodex and is currently being treated with oral medication and Maleseb washes to help clear this up. Our vet has confirmed that this is hereditary and has been passed on from one of his parents but should hopefully be cleared up and not pose any further issues.

When enquiring about Mack, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
