Leila came into care with her sister Beatrix, a very new mother of three.

Leila and Beatrix were dumped at the local pound, with Bea very pregnant. Both girls were extremely nervous and frightened of humans, and their history is unknown. Leila and Bea are very close and are rarely apart, except when they take turns to look after Beatrix's kittens and meal breaks.

Leila has a pure black coat whereas Beatrix has little white patches on her chest, under her arm and on her lower belly.

Leila has started trusting humans and love her back and chin scratches, but doesnt like her cuddles so much. She loves toys that dangle and jingle and acts like a big kitten when she plays! On the day they came into care both girls had to be tricked into their carry cage, slowly they came to trust their carers to pat them and they're progressing slowly and will benefit hugely with one on one attention in their new home.

Both girls have shown positive interest in other cats .
