Maxie ~ Jack Russell Terrier x (trial 4/12/15)

My name is Max, but my carer likes to call me Maxie. I am 6 years old and a Jack Russell X. Cross with what you say? Well maybe Dachshund, maybe Corgi, we just don't know for sure.

My previous life saw me resigned to backyard living with not enough interaction to keep me entertained and so I dug to escape in order to find some fun, adventure and some friends to share my days with. Some may call it my mid-life crisis but I decided I wanted more from life. Be they fur or skin, I just like to have company, someone to cuddle and someone to play with and I decided I would have it.

Since being rescued, I have come to enjoy family life, sleeping inside, using a doggy door & having a family including a doggy family. I am now looking for my forever family.

I am not a puppy, or a bouncy young thing, I am a middle aged dude with unusual looks (lets call me quirky handsome) and I come with an abundance of love & devotion. Talk to me, play with me, snuggle with me, I will be there for you always. Just give me a chance to show you just what a great addition to your family I can be.

Below are some notes from my foster mum. She is doing her best to take care of me while I wait for my new family.

Maxie is toilet trained, not a barker or aggressive and I have not had any digging issues since he arrived despite his old reputation. Maxie does manage to get through the smallest of spaces so a colourbond or solid fence is important. Maxie is best suited to a home with another similar sized dog. Maxie deserves more love and attention than he has been given in his previous life and we are determined to help him find his new home.
