About Rhys
Rhys is a handsome pup with a cheerful and lively nature. He loves to play, eat, and take naps! His foster carer says, "Rhys is a fairly active dog, his mother was a purebred kelpie and he has the athleticism of a working dog. He has my two dogs and 2 cats to play with outside most of the day (unless I am not home they are able to come in and out as they please) but I bring them in at night to sleep, and he's good with toileting outside."
His size and energy are best suited to an active home where he will get plenty of exercise, games, and training.
Background known: Rhys was born on a farm, his mum was a Kelpie and dad a Staghound/Bull Arab type. We rescued him from being shot, as he and his sister Roma were an unwanted litter.
Rhys is located in the ACT.
This dog will come microchipped, vaccinated and desexed, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
