About Patrick
Patrick came to life after being busted out of the pound. He was no longer this shy and wary little man but a dog that literally turned into a pup again when he saw his new foster home. He had a grin from ear to ear and he ran around with the other 12-15 dogs in care with nothing but happiness radiating from his body.
You honestly wouldn't believe this boy is 8 years old. He really doesn't act it. He's happy, energetic and cheeky as all hell.
We think he used to be an outside only dog due to the matting of his coat, the dirt piled upon it and also his lack of toilet training. But typical to a border collie, we think he will pick up his new desired behaviours very fast with the right direction.
Patrick would prefer an active household, one as either an only dog or with another friendly and playful dog- either gender as he really isnt bother. A place where he can be both inside and outside so he can truly be a part of the family. We haven't tested him with kids yet but we would assume due to him being a little older maybe something 7 years or older- away from the grabby age.
He's a sweet natured man who definitely deserves a good retirement home where he can get the love and affection he deserves and be able to spread his legs as well
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
