Riley (Claws n Paws Assisted Rehoming)

Meet Riley, believed to be German Pointer cross Border Collie or possibly even Labrador Retriever. He is medium to large & currently weighs 17.8kg.

Riley is 7 months old & like all pups has high energy & a tendency to not listen very well. He will require someone who can commit to ongoing training/socialisation, daily walks, & a large secure yard.

Riley has been living with another dog but outside the home has not had much socialisation with other canine friends. Riley has been around children as young as 2 yrs old & is ok other than he licks & not really understanding his size will knock them over.

Riley is a puppy & needs some lead training as he pulls a bit (he would benefit from a harness or halti). He is also inclined to assist with taking the washing off the line. This is why a commitment to training is a must to ensure a happy home. Riley is reported to be housetrained & sleeps on his blanket in the laundry at night. He is also noted as being ok around cats.
